Your personal data – Clients
At your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a Registration Form with your name and contact details, which are used for administration, contact and billing purposes only. Your signature shows that you have read and understood this form and that you give your consent.
At your first appointment, you will also be asked to complete a Health & Lifestyle questionnaire. This forms part of your session records, which are all held securely and on paper only. At this and subsequent sessions, I will make brief notes on paper only. These notes are necessary to enable me to offer you appropriate care during sessions. You have the right to see your paper notes within one month of your request. However, if you require a full paper copy there will be a charge for the related costs of producing one.
My professional indemnity insurance requires that all client records must be kept for a minimum of seven years from the date of the last session, after which time they will be shredded. However, as I am registered as a Reiki Master with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, I am required to retain records of Reiki sessions for eight years from the date of the last session.
- If you pay for a session using the PayPal buttons on my website, you are transferred to a secure page on the PayPal website. No payment details are kept on my website, but PayPal will notify me of your payment type, the amount and your contact details.
- When payment is made by debit or credit card via iZettle, the only details recorded are the date, the amount and the type of session being paid for.
- HMRC require that businesses retain their accounts for seven years, after which time they will be shredded. This includes my records of payments made to me by clients.

Paper copies of all correspondence relating to this process will be held with your paper notes, as above. You can ask me to remove your online testimonial at any time
